Although, UMBC has selected reading assignments from the indicated texts, participants may use any comparable texts to prepare for this program. Supplemental readings are recommended for reference use and for students seeking additional materials. All supplemental readings are indicated by the word "enrichment" in the reading list. These pre-course readings will help prepare the participants for the curriculum and will facilitate discussion during class.
