 This course provides classroom and field experiences designed to conduct effective search and rescue operations. Concepts explored include managment of the mergent multi-organizational network, types of searches, resource management, incident command, shifting probabilities of area, probability density, mission reports, victim behavior, hazard mitigation, field communications, and search and rescue satellite-aided tracking.

Prerequisite: EHS 200 or permission of the instructor.
